Product reviews are normally done as soon as the work is completed. I was pleased with the work when completed. In 2025, I went up into the attic and found evidence of mold on the plywood that had been installed with the new roof. There is no evidence of mold on the plywood that didn’t need to be replaced. I was disappointed that George Smith did not remediate the situation when advised.

Smith Roofing Co did a fantastic job replacing our old roof! Communication with owner George Smith was wonderful and he was very easy to work with. He answered phone calls and called back promptly after I left messages. He was very helpful in the process of choosing type and color of shingles. I was impressed with the high quality materials he uses. His employees are very hard working, courteous and respectful. I highly recommend Smith Roofing Co if you need a new roof or any roof repairs.

Hands down, one of the best customer experience I've had in the DMV! On Friday evening, Smith's roofing responded to my request within an hour, when all roofers in North Virginia were closed. To top it off, they had a crew come out soon after the weekend and repaired my roof leak and defective Dryer vent within two hours. The crew was kind, respectful, and kept me informed on all the work that was to be done. They cleaned up after themselves as if nothing happened. Highly recommended for all homeowners!

George and his team did a great job replacing my roof. They finished in a timely manner and cleaned everything up afterward. I definitely recommend Smith Roofing if you need any roofing work done.
