Leonard Splaine Co installed our entire whole-house air conditioning system. They went to great lengths to insure that our electrical service, vents and air return would fit our installation--this required a few extra visits by Ricky to double check. We appreciated the thoroughness. It turned out the Carrier system we originally decided on was not compatible with our house electrical service, so they upgraded our equipment to Lennox, which did fit, at no additional cost.
Jose and Francisco Soriano were the technicians who installed our system. They are consummate professionals, obviously experience and knowledgeable, considerate of our hardwood floors, very polite and respectful of both us and our property. We were very comfortable having them in our home.
Instead of merely removing the existing equipment and replacing our existing system, they made several improvements that made our system quieter and more comfortable. Our installation is in a house built in 1937; the air handler is in a hard-to-reach knee wall; but that did not create any problem for them. While they were installing the system, and after it was installed, they went over ever part of it so that we could see what they were doing knew how it operated and how to maintain it.
We got three estimated on our system; Leonard Splaine Co. was not the least expensive, but they have an excellent reputation for quality work at reasonable prices. We feel very good about our dealings with them and highly recommend them.

Dom and John were great! They professional and explained everything to me when they completed their work. The arrived at the expected time and completed a little earlier than expected! Our new system works great!

Update - We had our first cooling inspection done on the new system 5/4/26. Rudy came out to do it. Everything went well as expected and Rudy was awesome answering questions, giving real world advice, and very knowledgeable. Always a great experience. Thanks guys!
Original - My father was the recipient of the Feel The Love foundation from Lennox & Leonard Splaine. I had previously reached out to this company back in May, I believe, a couple months after our 27yr old heat pump died. Ted came out to speak with us then and made going through our options easy - unfortunately we couldn't get it financed. A month later we reached out to another company to try their financing but it didn't go through, and that company said we should just pull money from our house to fix it but that's not something we were comfortable doing. I reached out to the county and another foundation but I couldn't find a way to help my father.
I received an email from Leonard Splaine about the Feel The Love foundation at the end of a rough summer and very quickly nominated my father. Our options at that point were space heaters for the winter or using the house to get the money. A couple weeks later I had a call come in from Ted letting us know that my father was chosen to receive a new heating/cooling system. We were shocked and we really couldn't be more grateful to these two companies. They all came out Oct 7 2025 and spent about 8 hours here putting in the new system. They went beyond that though - They also fixed our deck that had holes all through it! Put in a completely new one! We just want to say thank you again to Ted, Josh, Jacob, and everyone else from Leonard Splaine & Lennox that came out that day to help us! They were very friendly, clearly knowledgeable, and really seemed to enjoy what they were doing. We are forever grateful and will continue our business with them.

The "completed" job seems worse than the problem I had. The draining pipes weren't secured or connected correctly.
Please don't send unprepared technicians to complete jobs.
