painter was terrible. had to follow up for obviously mispainted areas. painter removed all covers from outlets/lightswitches/door knobs and left them all over the house. painter threw away blinds brackets too. also they removed hardwired lights and did not reinstall leaving wires hanging.
AVOID THIS CONTRACTOR.

Completely unsatisfactory! Highly recommend you use someone else. I hired Jim’s Quality Painting to perform a basement bedroom conversion under contract EST0058 dated January 1, 2025. The scope of work included digging and installing an egress window and window well.
After installation, the window well repeatedly filled with water and the egress window became submerged. This made the installation nonfunctional and created water intrusion issues. A licensed contractor later evaluated the work and determined the window well and drainage were improperly installed and required complete removal and reconstruction to function correctly.
I formally notified Jim’s Quality Painting of the issue and requested resolution, either correction of the installation or a refund of the cost allocated to the egress window and well. The company stated they could not assist further with the drainage issue and did not offer corrective action or reimbursement. After that response, they did not reply to my follow-up request for resolution.
Because the installation was unusable, I was forced to hire another licensed contractor to remove the window well, correct the drainage, reinstall the egress window, and repair interior damage. As a result, I lost a total of $6,500 related to the original installation and associated repairs.
Jim’s Quality Painting never responded to my final request for resolution, leaving me no option but to pursue repairs independently.
I am submitting this review to document the experience, lack of response, and financial impact.

Absolutely a professional paint company. We’ve usedJim’s quality painting for our house exterior repairs and painting twice over the last twelve years including our deck. This past week we had painting done inside our home. As always, we are pleased with the quality of their work. A nice team of professional painters that were courteous and did a great job! Highly recommended!

This company is completely unprofessional. They did not respond in a timely manner. They were aware that they couldn't complete the task given yet they proceeded to not communicate that information. Please save your time and go with a company who is honest and aware of their limits and willing to effectively communicate that with their customers.
